Job Opening: Graphic Design Supervisor (F/T) – Chino, CA


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for direct supervision of the Graphic Design team including time and attendance, staffing, performance reviews, and performance development
  • Assess custom print requests for layout, templates and designs to be printed on cups and containers
  • Effectively communicate to Graphic Artists the layout and design of artwork for custom printed cups and containers
  • Enter job and art specific data into department job tracking system
  • Communicate with the Sales Department regarding custom print artwork in progress
  • Responsible for effectively communicating pre-press instructions to the Artist Group
  • Responsible for review of artwork for relevant job specific details prior to production of printing plates
  • Reinforce an approach amongst employees of extremely friendly and helpful customer interactions
  • Provide regular performance feedback to employees in a positive and constructive way to help them grow in their roles and maximize their performance
  • Obtain written approval for copyright and legal requirements
  • Creating and updating Graphic guidelines materials
  • Coordinating, producing, and updating print-ready layouts for promotional flyers, banners, posters, brochures, catalogs, etc. on a regular basis and bid price on printing and ordering
  • Coordinating, producing, and designing email blasts and online banners
  • Retouch photos products pictures for all website merchandise. Online research of competitive data related to price info, sales promotions, etc.
  • Coordinating, creating, and updating content for external and internal sites on a regular basis. Managing strict timelines to main current content and develop new content
  • Coordinating projects with the marketing/sales departments while supporting upper management



  • Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, or related field.; must be authorized to work in the US
  • Highly skilled in Adobe CS6 Illustrator and Photoshop. Experienced in working with Adobe Premiere, photography, HTML/Dreamweaver, and photo retouching, WordPress, NetSuite, MailChimp experience a plus
  • Print production knowledge
  • Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills with a minimum of 1-2 years experience managing a team of 3 or more in an art production setting
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple projects, and work under deadlines
  • Neat, accurate work habits and excellent attention to detail
  • Interested in the retail beverage and manufacturing industry
  • Strong creative and artistic skills
  • A hard worker and willing to learn new things
  • A fast learner and not afraid of a challenge
  • Someone who works well with others
  • A person with the ability to prioritize and multitask, & work well under pressure & deadlines
  • Adept with strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Salary DOE

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (one hour lunch break)
